Children Awaiting Parents is proud to announce a creative arts contest to celebrate friendship.
The contest is open to all individuals, age 21 and under, who are currently, or have previously been in foster care, and those who have been adopted. Individuals entering should reflect on what friendship means to them. Tell us about a special friend – your best friend, a mentor, a teacher - even a pet! Now is your chance to express that friendship through art – be it a poem, an essay, or even a drawing. Whatever means you find best expresses your idea of friendship – share it!
